The Managing Director of Arcadia Shipping, Capt Rohit J Pereira, has been associated with the Maritime industry for well over 25 years. Amalgamating his experience from Technical and Commercial ship management with Post Graduate Diploma in Maritime Law from NUS, he has ably led the Company’s growth since its inception in 2015. He is extremely passionate about developing mutually beneficial synergies that drive business success. Rohit’s commitment to Corporate Social responsibility encompassing environmental, philanthropic, ethical, and economic responsibility, echoes his support of shipping’s net zero emissions ambition by 2050 An avid cyclist and fitness enthusiast, Rohit loves beating the stress by breaking a sweat.


Capt Rohit J Pereira

The DPA and ACSO of Arcadia Shipping, Mesbah has close to 40 years of experience at both sea and ashore. Joined the Maritime Industry as a deck cadet in 1983 and sailed 22 years in various ranks onboard including 7 years as a Master on a variety of tankers. Committed to the pursuit of excellence, Capt Mesbah completed MSc in Maritime Science from Nanyang Technological University (NTU) A certified Flag and Port State Safety Inspector, a qualified ISM/ISPS/MLC Auditor and ISO Auditor, and Marine Casualty Investigator, Capt Mesbah is suitably qualified to lead the Quality and Compliance Department at Arcadia. A marathoner by passion, Capt Mesbah was the Marine Academy champion athlete and started running marathons since 2012.


Capt Mesbah Uddin

Lim that has been in this Maritime industry since 1991. With over 20 years of experience onboard including 8 years as Ship Captain, sailing on a wide variety of vessels have provided him with the insight and know-how only hands on experience can provide. A self-professed workaholic and a true people’s person, Lim is good at establishing and maintaining good and jovial working atmosphere in the office, while onboard he is known to develop good relationships with ship staff by imparting knowledge and training them to improve. With commitment to the task at hand and get-it-done attitude he loves a challenge. Riding his bike, exploring the nooks and crannies of town is his preferred way to unwind.


Capt Phen Lim

Dedy started his journey in the maritime industry in 2001 and was a Marine Engineer on board for 8 years. His journey ashore started in 2008 when he was selected to be a part of a floating storage regasification unit project for his technical expertise. Being a part of the Company since its inception in 2015, he is one of the pillars of the Company and ably leads the Technical Department. His eye for detail, coupled with calculative decision-making skills have proven instrumental in ASL’s growth. As a believer of the ‘ground up’ philosophy, he is focused on strengthening core competencies to propel the growth of the Company, to be a name to reckon within the Ship Management world. A devout man by nature, he lives by his beliefs and leads by actions and not just words.


Dedy Iskandar

After 18 years working on board a variety of oil tankers including VLCCs up to the rank of Chief Engineer. Md Hassan Mahmood Khan began his career ashore as a technical superintendent with a Ship Management company in 2010, he joined our Arcadia family in the later part of the decade. Hassan is a goal-oriented and results-oriented individual, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A good team player who can lead and motivate others to achieve common objectives. He believes that openness, honesty, and freedom to express oneself in the workplace are the significant advantages of working at Arcadia. He enjoys learning new technologies and travelling to distant locations.
